Starting in 2016, we gathered at the university to discuss on urban planning socialization and visualization. In our younger-self, we found it really compelling to visualize planning like no other. Teaming up with a group of student from urban planning and tech person we are formulating an app to address the issue.

In partnership with Far East Mobility we are helping to enrich their data needs by providing primary survey such as traffic counting, passenger occupation, passenger interview, parking lot observation, on bus survey, passenger transfer survey. In collaboration with Bappelitbang of Bandung City, Cityplan enhances the city government in data-driven decision making. The overlay between the disaster data and city spatial plan to know the risk area to develop and plan for a better residential area in the future.

Spatial Analysis

Deciding the ideal locations that enable the business units to capture the market can be an overwhelming process. 80% of the data have location components (Pitney Bowes). When we put the data into geographical context, they show the spatial patterns that are insightful for business purpose.
After mapping more than 6700 retail locations in Jakarta, we have the spatial distribution that can be subsequently used as the base for determining the next potential retail location. We give the insight to decide the ideal location for business purposes.
